Membership Requirements

Dental Degree

Applicants must hold a recognized dental degree from an accredited dental school or university that is authorized to grant dental qualifications.

Clinical Experience

Applicants must have at least three years of clinical experience in the field of laser dentistry or general dentistry with proven experience using dental laser technology. This experience can be gained through private practice, hospital dentistry, or academic involvement.

Continuing Education

Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to continuing education in laser dentistry. This includes attendance at GCLD conferences, workshops, webinars, or GCLD certified training programs related to laser applications in dentistry.

Professional Affiliations

Applicants must be a member of a national or international dental association in good standing, reflecting their dedication to the professional standards of dentistry.

Ethical Standing

Applicants must maintain a high standard of ethical and professional conduct within the dental community. They must not have been found guilty of any ethical violations, malpractice, or professional misconduct.

How to Become a Member

  1. Submit a Membership Application

    To join the Global Congress of Laser Dentists (GCLD), please complete and submit the official GCLD Membership Application Form to .

    • A copy of your dental degree and valid dental license.
    • Copies of your laser dentistry training or continuing education certificates from GCLD.
    • A letter of recommendation from a professional colleague, mentor, or senior faculty member familiar with your work.
  2. Pay the Membership Fee

    Pay the GCLD Life Membership Fee: 250 Euros. (May vary by country/category)

    After verification, you'll receive your Membership Certificate and member privileges.

How to Maintain Membership

Attend GCLD Educational Programs and Events

GCLD members are encouraged to actively participate in GCLD educational programs and events. These programs offer valuable opportunities to learn about the latest advancements in laser dentistry, share knowledge, and connect with fellow GCLD members.

To remain an active member of GCLD, you must attend at least one GCLD-affiliated course or the GCLD Annual Congress within a one-year period. If you do not participate in any of these programs within that time, your membership will automatically lapse. However, you can easily renew or maintain your membership by attending the next GCLD Conference or other approved educational programs.

Volunteer Your Time

GCLD members are encouraged to volunteer their time and expertise to help advance the field of laser dentistry. Volunteer opportunities may include:

  • Joining committees and working groups to contribute to GCLD initiatives.
  • Teaching or mentoring fellow members and students in laser dentistry techniques.
  • Participating in research, clinical studies, or educational projects.
